Our technical team composed of Computer Vision Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Engineers are building AI models to identify birds flying around wind turbines. As an Edge Computing Engineer (Computer Vision), your role will be bringing knowledge in hardware systems and performance optimisation to support the deployment of those models on edge devices.

What you’ll do

• Configure and optimise Spoor’s AI computer vision models to run on edge devices
• Build systems to monitor performance and availability of edge devices in the field
• Discover, benchmark and propose new available edge AI technology for improved performance, reliability and cost

What you’ll need

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field
• Experience using tools such as: Python, C/C++, OpenCV, Tensorflow, Keras, PyTorch or similar
• Experience with edge AI technologies such as: Nvidia Jetson, Google coral or similar
• Experience with cloud computing and edge network
• You have strong analytical, mathematical and problem solving skills
• You’re a team player and get things done
